About

My main research interest examines the evolution of ecology in ancient mammals from the short term (seasons) to the very long term (millions of years). Current research is focused on understanding the effects of climate change on mammal paleoecology and the idea of niche conservatism.  The primary methods I use to obtain data include analysis of stable isotope geochemistry, radiocarbon dating, microCT analysis, morphometrics, and bioinformatics databases. Previous studies have been located in New York, California, Colorado, Florida, Wyoming, and Spain. I am interested and open to collaboration within and beyond North America.
